AB The goal was to find out the experience of nurses and parents of hospitalization childrens with parents. The inquiry was conducted using the qualitative research method. Furthermore, data were collected via non-standardized interview, the participants were selected using the snowball sampling method. Three basic coding categories of investigated experiences were identified: care, help and support, and hospital's care and treatment measures.The nursing staff pointed out negative aspects of their own work which related to insufficient psychological support for parents as well as hospital staff, performing treatment or diagnostic procedures in the presence of a parent or breaking the hospital's care and treatment measures on the part of parents.
